There’s another unpleasant side effect from Covid-19.

If you’re going to be rude to a waitress
due to food service slowed by the virus,
all you’re going to do is create stress
through behavior that’s less than desirous.

Restaurants both far and wide have reported this:
clientele who erupt into tantrums,
disregarding short staff and food shortages –
which has led café owners to ban some.

If you won’t wear a mask in an eating place
when a sign clearly says they require it,
then you forfeit your privilege to feed your face –
since the Golden Rule should be inviolate.
