Astro-Not So Much

Can you spend a year on another planet without leaving Earth?

Something that’s long been debated:
is life possible on Mars?
Now – an effort (simulated);
fodder for some folks’ memoirs.

Live inside tight habitation;
weeks or months? Nope – try a year!
It’s an outer-space vacation
while still on Earth’s biosphere.

It’s a small pied-à-terre that’s
built by special 3D-printers.
Why? Let’s strip it down to bare facts:
cuts down chance of getting splinters.

Bunking for twelve months with strangers
doesn’t sound like it’s a breeze. I’d
think perhaps the biggest danger?
Every single meal is freeze-dried.
