A petty criminal demonstrated an uncanny talent for recidivism.
Not often you encounter it:
a man who passes counterfeit
one-hundred dollars bills as bail
when seeking to be sprung from jail.
While searching for an auto stolen,
cops thought he had played a role in
taking it. Though innocent,
a warrant meant to jail he went.
Now busted for a different theft,
this hooligan was sorta eff’d.
And for that previous mistake,
he offered Benjamins – both fake.
A magistrate, quite cordially,
then upped the charge to forgery.
His destiny is manifest:
each new day brings one more arrest.
