I’d sure like to clock whoever came up with this idea.
The end of Daylight Saving Time
Means, as the sun sets now, that I’m
Plunged into darkness far too soon.
Who cares if I can see the moon?
The sunrise now comes earlier,
But does that make me surly? Sure!
I’d rather sleep right through the light
Since I stayed up too late last night.
My body’s rhythm, modulated,
Comes undone. Oh, God – I hate it.
I can hardly wait for summer;
All this dark and cold’s a bummer.
